So Ford is calling the Escape Hybrid the most fuel-efficient SUV on the planet... I dunno, with things like this SUV existing, I severely doubt that.

#5, are they meaning American SUVs, or? Cause personally, I don't think 27 MPG is very "effecient" when an ML270 CDI gets 35 highway.

#7, real world, it doesn't though. Although, the foreign SUVs in diesel form get better than 35. Pajero Pinin gets 37 IIRC.
