God damn, I hate parking lots like this, where the lines have been painted and repainted over so many times it's hard to figure out where exactly the damn parking spots are.

#1, This lot has a pair of lines to indicate the buffer between cars. Some places do this to make sure people know how to properly park.
This person just parked in the middle of two spots.
Not a matter of lines being repainted in this particular lot, but I do know what you mean.

I actually like parking my little Renault, it can fit into the tightest spaces.

And then I discover there's no room left to open the door >:(

#5, Bah, that's what the back hatch is for... I remember at Penn State Abington, wedging that narrow little Cavalier wagon into the narrowest of spots and getting out through the rear hatch.

#6, Well, I haven't stripped the interior yet... I'm 185cm and 100kg, it would a be a bitch to me to crawl out the back with the back seat and trunk cover in place ;)

#7, Oh... right, I sometimes forget that hatchback have shit in the way... with the Cavalier, I always had the rear seats folded, so it was always a clear shot out the back.

I parked in a hatch last night at the grocery store. Didn't realize 'til I came out... that was embarrassing.

#4, Smashed windows, slashed tires, 'die' spray-painted everywhere, a DVD under the wiper blade showing your wife being molested by the person that searched frantically for a parking space earlier.

But no door dinks.

#9, Uh.... what?

[edit] Oh, I see... it's just, we were talking about hatchbacks, and you were refering to hatchmarks...

When I see stufff like this, it makes me wish I had a big-block powered dually pickup with a big utility bumper on it...just nuzzle up to the Corolla and PUSH it inside the lines.
