Rear quarter, note the missing fuel door:

The GT family was a more sophisticated R5 (as oppposed to the basic C, Campus, Five, etc. cars). You could get a GTL (luxury, 1.1 with 5-speed or 1.4), GTX (sporty, upgraded suspension and brakes, wider wheels, sporty interior gadgets and GTT/GTE bodykit, 1.4) and top of the line GTE (1.7, 90hp) and GT Turbo, a.k.a. GTT (120hp, turbo 1.4).
Mine has a fancy upholstery (gray-ish plastic with a fine pattern and nice texture, the whole dash and parts of trim are made from it), several nifty compartments (2 locked, 1 is busted), 3 ashtarys, etc.

#2, Engine:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...et/Jan04_03.jpg
1387cc, 58hp @ 4750rpm, 104Nm @ 3000rpm. It's a 'Cleon' engine (C3J to be exact), so it's OHV (ARGH!), but it has 5 crankshaft bearings and is fuel injected. Overall, a daily driver engine, low power but the torque is pretty good for such a small car (740kg) . The "standard" C3J had 1390cc and 60hp, this car was originally sold in Germany so Renault lowered the hp a bit to avoid higher tax.

The only mod so far.... actually it might look a bit ricey. What you see is a straight-through perforated core muffler that was originally the first muffler on a Fiat 125. The previous owner put it on. I decided to replace the cat with a pipe beacuse I'm a cheap bastard and the old cat was dead. Now I've got a nice, raspy sound without the ricey buzzing. And it's rather quiet IMO. At least until you punch it.

#5, Are there any sunny days in Poland ? Everytime you post a picture from where you live, either the sky is grey or it's raining, or both actually.

#5, Planned mods: SEATS!!! What a goddamn cheapskake ordered those stupid seats? Bah!
Suspension: -50mm up front and around -25mm at the rear, revalved (and perhaps shortened) custom shocks.
Engine: either a E6J swap (80hp) or just a air filter replacement (I'm afraid I might fuck something up fiddling with a cone filter DIY induction system), maybe a rebuild. Better to have a strong running stock engine then a modded fucked up one I say.
And that's pretty much it for now, at least unless I get a full-time job.

#6, Yes, it's from the old Frog. It probably came off GTE or GTT model.

#3, MUCH better. When it will be finally fixed up I will actually feel bad about trashing it around...

#8, Oh, and some sort of engine undertray will be a must. Better play it safe.

#7, Yes, last summer we had temperatures of around 35 degrees Celsius and no rain at all. It sucked, I like a bit of rain and cool weather (15 degrees Celsius is perfect).

#10, In some countries, yes. This is why the GTE was created.

#16, Sunshine is nice 4-6 months of the year, but 345 days a year gets so old.
