I'll never understand the fascination with building totally undrivable automobiles.

#2, ...a vehicle constantly being in a repair shop due to numerous problems like seal leaks and whatnot would be considered undrivable, would it not?

*runs*

#3, And yet that vehicle is actually used as a daily driver with a moderate degree of success.

Unlike, say, a 1700 lb. car with so much power that it probably won't even get traction on dry pavement, sprayed down with VHT, on racing slicks, on a hot day, likely with a thirst for C16 race gas. :p

#4, Ok, ok, I'm just trying to get you to come to your senses and stop your automotive insanity...

There needs to be something called Poweradders Anonymous for people like you :P

The parking lot would be full of leaking, worn out cars :P

#5, I actually hate power adders with a passion; I'll be the first to say that anything that can't be done with some combination of cubic inches and RPM ought not to be done at all. :p

Also, I find it necessary to make two salient points.

1. Really, drivability and reliability are two separate and different things. This thing could be overbuilt to the point where nothing ever breaks, but you'd have to be off your rocker to drive it in a rainstorm.

2. I have yet to go out on a driving trip and have a car unable to return under its own power. This is more than I can say for many people who drive stock automobiles, and an important part of living with something stupidly modified is knowing what condition it is in, and fixing minor problems before they have a chance to become major. That said, I am currently contemplating a switch to something less heavily modified because, as I mentioned in the previous passage, I really hate forced induction.

#6, as much as 700hp fit makes my johnson half hard....the fact that SCC described a stock k20 powered one as barely livable.....the extra 500hp makes me think this sucks for real life. On paper this should be amazing.

I'd like my next car to be a mkIII supra...probably with 2jze and NO MORE than 450 hp.

#7, go with the 1jz instead. better fit and wiring. and will take the power you are looking for. cheaper too. that is if youre set on a jz block. the 7M-GTE can handle it too.

#8, i was basically looking for a local turbo with an old or blown 7m-gte. For some reason I keep fantasizing about the 2jz when I know I want to be with the 1jz. Fuck I even critisize people for making 2jz cars into single turbo 2jze cars.
