Heh... I've always kinda liked those kinda spare tire locations... very clean, very nice. Never been a fan of bright chrome wheels, but this is doable.

My dad has a '71 GMC stepside in this same color. I'll try to post it sometime.

It seems everyone always wants to put '71 and '72 front ends on the '69 and '70 trucks. These fronts look so much better.

The same story with Fox body Mustangs....there are plenty of '79-'86 cars running around, but they all have '87-'93 front sheetmetal. I think I'm going to do the opposite some day...stick a '85 or '86 front on an '87-'93 car.
