Nah, the back is different. I can't recall the exact name of this thing, but it's not Primera.
http://jpg.autoweb.hu/hac-e04111916_2.jpg is a primera estate

I think that is the Avenir, but dont quote me on that

#1, That's a 2nd generation Primera wagon (P11)... and this one is not in New Zealand, buddy :)

This was listed on the website AS a Primera.

#3, I'm guessing this car is in or near Germany.

#3, Granted, but I wasn't aware of there being a P10 wagon. But I'm no Nissan expert, could well be wrong. And about the NZ car industry, if it was made in Japan, there's examples of them running around here.
The grille looks Primera-ey, but the rest of the front just looks different...

#5, I saw an interior shot of this car, and the interior is damn near identical to that of my P10 Infiniti G20.

OK, I Googled for it and it looks like an early-90s model sold in Europe, probably Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary any anywhere near there. Odd thing is the wagon has differently shaped corner lights than any of the sedans I've seen.

#7, That's because the Primera IS essentially the G20. Look at the 1996-2000 model and you'll see they're almost identical. http://www.thhe.dk/Nissan_Primera_01.jpg

Ok, then the Avenir of this generation is simply a wagon version of the Primera... the doors are the same, most of the front end is the same, the interior is the same... maybe they simply kept the "Primera" name in some European markets to simplify the naming in the lineup...

#10, YES I KNOW THE G20 IS A PRIMERA... that was my point! Since the interior of this car is identical to that in my car, there's no doubt that this thing's interior is identical to that of a normal Primera sedan.

#12, Okay okay sorry, I didn't realize that you were making a point with that statement. I thought it was just an observation. My bad.

#11, Probably. They sold the Avenir albeit with a facelift, in conjunction with the P11 wagon though. Some of them with 4wd and the SR20DET from the Pulsar GTI-R. I want one of those someday.

#16, That's something that doesn't happen in America very often... a car company redesigning a vehicle, but keeping on selling the older one for a cheaper price alongside... it's actually a pretty good idea, keep the proven-car, that has had time on the market for all the bugs to be worked out, available to people who still want it...

I know Ford did that with the F-150 a few years ago, as the "Heritage" model...and the Aerostar stayed on the market alongside the Windstar for a couple of years...

#18, Hmmm... I guess it DOES happen in America when it comes to trucks and other commercial vehicles...

#17, They did it here for a while with the Astra.
But it was quite a facelift tho.
