I just found out that the BMW 2002 belonged to the owner of the shopping center this thing is located at....it was his running vehicle that he donated to the project. What a cockbite.

Torn down in 2008. Here's a video: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cf...ideoid=33651724

It seems the Grand Prix and the Escort got the worst of the damage, based on how the sculpture fell.

The VW and BMW 2002 aren't visible in the teardown, because they were both removed by crane beforehand and are being kept by the mall for use in a possible replacement sculpture.
