#2, Christ, I didn't realize Barret Jackson was on last night. And I I see it's on again tonight, but I don't have enough money left for muchies. :(

Well, I do have a pack of Hostess Sno Balls, and a deep freezer full of Healthy Choice TV dinners. It's a start.

Thanks to Barrett-Jackson over the years, I really am sick and tired of muscle cars. I'll flip to it, but I won't watch unless it's something that was made before 1953 and ISN'T hot-rodded, or if it's something European.

#3, after the Sunfire "custom" I gave up. The 61' Impala was the best thing I saw last night

Though I have to say, one of the things that pissed me off so much about Speed's coverage of the auction... this was a few years ago... they covered about 10 1955-57 Ford Thunderbirds in a row... they were all freaking the same... then I saw the car coming up next, a 1957 DeSoto Adventurer convertible... OH MAN I wanted to see that... nope, Speed went to commercial break... and when they came back, they didn't even bother mentioning the DeSoto... they just went straight to, "Next up, a 1956 Thunderbird, restored to perfection by blah blah blah, truly a unique classic, just like every other restored '56 Thunderbird we've seen...."

#6, There were some really interesting Euros during the night, actually. For Example:

http://www.barrett-jackson.com/carl...n_LotNumber=408
the first one is an Alfa Romeo i had never seen, the second a 71 Mercedes

#11, That reminds me, on my way to school last night, I was being followed by an Alfa 164.... GOD it was such a nice treat to see that thing on the road... yeah, it's boxy and not terribly exciting looking, but it made my day.

I will never be sick of muscle cars. EVER.

The only cars at Barret Jackson I get tired of are the cookie-cutter, SBC-powered, billet-covered street rods painted some dark pearl blue or green with the same beige leather interior. There are always tons of them, it seems.

#17, yep. Same. I love original or close to original cars. I hate billeted cars and am starting to hate the G Machine looks because more often than not, G Machine cars of one type all look alike.

#19, I hate the everything-shaved and small-planet-sized wheels looks of many muscle cars nowadays.
