#2, Well, there's that, and he was the archetype for the stereotypical progressive left-wing hippie douchebag we've all come to know and love as they inhabit our Starbucks and University campuses today. And also Yoko was a hag.

#6, Well, the one good thing he did was inevitably break up the Beatles, who's trappings into the realms of prog-rock spawned a whole new genre of hard to listen to music enjoyed by long haired holdovers from a thankfully dead and rotting era. The Beatles had quite an excellent run if you're into their sort of music, although like so many 12 year old cancer patients they were fucked over by Micheal Jackson.

#8, I think for a band it's better to end an illustrious career early and leave a bittersweet memory with your fans rather than trod out the same lame shtick for four decades and become so antiquated that no one can associate your original sexuality with you anymore without either having a spastic laughing fit or gagging. There are plenty of bands I'd like to see head back into the studio and pop out a new LP, but likewise there are some bands who I'd shoo away from the recording studio with a pitchfork.

The Rolling Stones should have retired in 83 after they released the very pedestrian Undercover or at least in 97 with the meh reception of Bridges to Babylon and don't get me started on Jagger's 02 solo flop Goddess in the Doorway. (Some also believe they should have quit after founder Brian Jones was murdered) The thing is that the Stone's know how to capitalize on their image, they can still write some snappy tune with sexual innuendo lyrics or politically charged nonsense and deliver it with the same classic mish mash of American Blues, R&B, with country and psychedelia mixed in for good measure, attracting hordes of fans and millions of dollars. Even though they were regarded as dinosaurs ten years ago The Bigger Bang tour still netted them somwhere around 400 million so they'll be damned if they're stopping any time soon.

Of all the hazzards on our roads, one must be especially aware of hard to see, immovable objects like drain pipes, bridge abutments, and picnicing hippies. Impact with any of these objects can destroy a car, injure passengers, and leave little to no damage to the object hit.
