How can you tell one country song from another?
They've all got different names... |

#2, hah. My friend absolutely adores him. I, on the other hand, find his voice annoying. I did like on of his songs I heard though. |

I like Cletus T Judd's parody of "She thinks my tractors sexy" (the cellmate one) |

It's because he's not really playing the guitar, he's just pantomiming it at a concert because it looks good. Being a major recording artist, he's probably lip-synching as well.
BTW, that dude (?) behind him looks a lot like the lesbian high school teacher I had (the one that drove the Toronado Trofeo). And does he have cerebral palsy or something? What's with the angle of his wrist?

#9, That requires him to bend his wrist practially backwards? I've never noticed other bassists doing that. |

#10, That's what it looks like to me, he's plucking the strings as opposed to strumming them, it's easier to get a low key bass melody that way. I've seen plenty of guitarist's do it in low tempo songs. |

#10, i hope your not reffering to those guys who sling their basses past their knees and jump around like a fish out of water as bass players. there's nothing wrong with this guys wrist or his playing position. do a GIS for stefan lessard or marcus miller and look at them. |

#13, I'm not overanalyzing shit, he just looks retarded. It makes my wrists hurt just to look at him.
#14, No, I'm talking about guys he hold their guitars at the same height this guy is but don't drape their arm over it like it's paralyzed.

bass players go to whatever method is easiest for keeping their hand in a "home" position. A thumb rest, resting the arm on the body (as above), or what I do: thumb on top of the pickup. |
