If Pontiac steals pre-Bangle BMW styling cues across the board, like they did with this car, that's a good thing. Now they need to steal their engineers, too. |

Snagging a couple of top execs wouldn't hurt either, but this is a good start. |

#2, If you're only going by the kidney grill - then find a BMW that has it's badge between the grills and not on the hood.

#6, I still don't understand why the 1t gen Focus after a facelift is sold in the US... WTF? And why the new RS didn't make it overseas? And why does a 150hp-ish car have drum brakes at the back? |

#12, , #13, I'd say it's more a case of Ford's American consumers having their headsup their asses. 90% of American cars are just pure, unadulturated garbage. I for one, can't believe they ever sold a single Saturn. The old, pre-Opel cars were so terrible it was almost comical, everything on the shitmobiles shouted "cheap" and "built in a garage with spare parts". And not to wrag on Saturn only, this sort of thing is pretty much the norm for our cars. |

#16, Those are decent cars. Still crude and sloppy, but also big and comfy like only we know how to build 'em. |

Ah, so I see I'm not alone in my views? I, too, think that the golden era of US cars is long past... but things are slowly improving I'd say? Still, I'd be hard pressed to think of an American car that would sell good in Europe. |

#19, Yes, things are improving. Americans are getting a taste for Eropean cars rebadged as American cars. |
