Looks like some serious rubber. Lemme guess, 15/45/210? Advans?

#1, No idea. All I know is that he had real trouble during the rally because he only put the new rubber on the rear. The rear was sticking and the front wasn't. He has a mildly modified motor, a 25% LSD, short final drive and knows how to drift the car. So that was some serious grip these tires had.

Update: funny thing, he won't say what tires those were. They might have been Markgums. Markgum is a Polish company that regrooves both competition tires and street tires with performance rubber compounds and thread. Very popular in lower classes in drag, drift and amateur rally, although I think that even some pros use their gravel and snow tires for training sessions.
But if it was Markgum why would he make so much of a secret as to what they were? One of my friends say these might be Silverstone intermediates, I really can't say.

He finally spilled the beans: the tires are Toyo R888.
