Kia Picatno 1.0l. 999cc 12v i-4, 67hp, V-Tech ECU, Ireco Motorsport rollcage, steering wheel, bucket seat, 6-point harness, fire extinguisher and cut-off switch by Toora Competizione, V-Tech intake and exhaust, V-Tech engine bushings, Dotz Imola wheels, Pirelli P6000 tires, Carbone Lorraine brake pads, H&R springs and Bilstein shocks.
A begginer's cup, Kia Picanto Cup is famous because of it's NASCAR like pile-ups. These youg drivers cut corners, push each other off the track, spin-out in the rain, cause multi-car rollovers, etc. Not to mention that they don't even know flag rules. True, they have to learn to race somewhere but, for christssakes, what's karting for?!

#1, Case in point. Formation lap start. I hear on the radio that some idiot overslept and now tries to get onto the track from the (now closed) depo. Formation lap slowly drives through my track section, everything looks OK. 30 seconds later I hear on the radio no. 31 spun off. How the fuck can you spin off the track in an FWD car during formation lap?! OK. Start procedure delayed, the idiot from no. 31 gave the car some gas while going back onto the track and got stuck in the gravel trap. He geve it even more gas, freed himself but got gravel all over the track. Time to break out the brooms. Race start. Last corner rollover, rollover, we've got a three car rollover, red flag!. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST >_<

#4, They are dangerous. It just looks harmless on the video, it's scary when you're behind the armco and are expected to jump over it and run on the track to clear it/get on of those idiots out of the car before other idtiots run him over.

#5, I retract my previous statement. I just flipped through stewart/marshal rule book and the first rule is: stewart/marshal safety first. In other words, there's no fucking way I'm leaving my cozy spot behind the armco until it's safe or the race director orders me to do so.
The cup is fun. Costs are low. You pasy around 10000USD for a race prepped car and you get around 75% of car body space for your sponsors, Kia also gives you some benefits (like free catering). The whole season costs around 40000USD. For a lot of pepole, Picanto Cup is almost a freebie. This year there will be 43 cars on the grid.

Damn, that's a good way to get your foot in a door. Do good for a couple of seasons, ya might get a shot at in the big leagues, or at least, bigger than this.
