The "It's cool so of course FoMoCo doesn't sell it in America" version.

Hi. We're Ford. We manufacture both a second generation Focus for Europe, yet still make the first generation one for America. The European Focus is extremely competitive in the market place, a fantastic little vehicle. The American Focus is a dated car that we put a mutated Korean-esque Fusion-front end on. With Bold Moves like that, it's no wonder both Toyota AND Chrysler have passed us in American sales.

Oh yeah, and we sell a modern Ranger pickup truck everywhere else in the world, but keep giving you Americans a rehashed 15 year old truck with a new front-end. We'll NEVER lose sales and slip into bankruptcy that way!

#4, not to mention the overpriced vehicles, a la Five Hundred/Freestyle ala Taurus/Taurus X. Also howcome we can't get the euro models when even GM has wisened up?

#5, Ford's American bureau is obviously too proud to pull their heads out of their asses...

"Wot? Ford Europe and Ford Australia make good cars? Poppycock! Ford started in America, so logically, Ford America still makes the best vehicles in teh world!!!111"

I don't want to see Ford die. I want to see them make and sell good cars in America.

When it all comes down to it, they ARE still an American company, and their death would have an effect on our economy.

But then, me wanting to see them make good cars... I can wish in one hand and crap in the other, and you know which one will get filled first.

I want to see Ford get bought out by a company that actually knows how to build and sell cars. I'd rather not see them go out of business entirely.*

*For the sake of spare parts availability. :O
