#1, Crazy stuff. 4 days and night of nonstop driving, no time for sleep or rest. No special stages, roads open for traffic. Fucking elephants on the road at times.

#2, Not to mention that most of the cars were pretty much stock... take MB W123 280E for example. Pushbar, skidplate, rollcage, additional fuel tank, stiff shocks, higher springs, 4-point belts on stock seats. That was it. And the car was a very strong contender.
