I also don't care for the use of a Ford rear end in a Trans am.
Nothing against the Ford rear, but it just seems like an odd choice for something like this. |

This whole car makes no sense; he's got a beefy drag racing rear end from Ford, stock Chevy powerplant, small brakes, no sway bars, tubbed rear end with HUGE wheels. What the hell motiff is he going for? Even the article's author was confused. |

#5, I agree with not knowing what he was trying to do. It looks like he was partly setup to do some strip racing, but the article says that he doesn't do that. He just drives around.
Then why bother with the low gearing? Why not balance between power and driveability on the street?
I think Lemming could have done a much better job with the money sunk into this car. |

#6, He said he wanted something like a lifesize Hot Wheels car, something that looked like one of those little diecasts. And in that capacity he succeeds, this thing looks strikingly like one of the "Big Time Muscle" 1:18th scale diecasts from Jada Toys if you're familiar with the brand. My biggest beef with this is that this clown obviously has the money to do something cool with it but instead he makes it into some wacky looking g-machine. |

#8, Yes. I thought I was the only one who thought it screamed JADA. I hate it, but in a way, it's kinda cool. |

#9, It's an interesting concept, but to waste a 68 Firebird to do it, no, not cool.
#10, True, it's not like you can really do much save for going in straight line with the way it's set up now. You could add some sway bars and strut tower braces and bigger brakes and maybe get a milder rear end, and ditch the locking differential if you wanted a chance to add some honest to God traction on a track but this guy seems too mixed up.
