Apparenty, Japan did have Cultus convertibles.....not sure if GM or Suzuki designed it first, tho:

Its amazing how advertisement can make something look so tempting. Except for the fact that these 4'5" tall folks don't seem too happy looking at the sunset. Guess I'd be depressed too sitting without th ability to feel my legs.
