#4, Oh, I didn't know they made quad cabs earlier than the 90s, probably due to the fact I've never really seen one in person

#5, Now that I think of it, I've never either. Oldest one I've seen was like 1990ish.

#7, What about a 70s Ford dually pickup? Even pictures of those are very hard to find.

#8, Oooh, I don't know if I've ever seen one of those. I think I may have but I don't have a clear memory as it isn't something I knew was rare and thus I never made a mental note to remember.

#8, I posted a pic of a 70s Chevy dually here once but I haven't seen any really old Ford duallies.

#9, I have seen those weird-looking 70s longbeds, tho with about a 2 foot overhang.

The local mechanic here used to have a dirty white '71 crew cab Ford...one of only about two I've seen in my life. The truck was in great shape apart from needing some basic cosmetic work, plus my family needed a truck at the time, so I offered to trade him even for my Camaro, but he ended up selling the truck instead (he needed cash immediately).

It sucked, because I would have loved to have had that truck. I'm something of a Ford FE junkie, and this one had a great running 390 in it. Last I saw the truck, it drove past the house (probably no more than 6 months ago) and it looked to have been involved in a front crash recently....the front was all fucked up. I still shake my head.

#13, Wow, I just found another one:

The truck I mentioned looked just like that, but solid white and with dog dish hubcaps. It even had that same rusty rear bumper.
