both pipes go into a transverse muffler just ahead of the fuel tank. the second pic shows it better [Edited by 454Nova on 3-12-2007 @ 12:51:18 PM]

#6, Ah. Well it's a surprise for me, even my father's puny 1.4l has two mufflers. Mine had a cat-muffler setup, now without the cat and with a straight-through it hardly sounds subtle.
