Well, my initial post is reasonably intelligent, since it was based on what Ive read about some teams' opinions and on the average nascar fan's general views on imports and domestics.

Oh, and #2, they're paid to say it's a good car... they're all Dodge factory drivers, after all. So it makes sense. ...and Toyota is pretty much drowning in Nascar right now. Only two out of the seven teams have made all 4 races so far this year, and that was because they were guaranteed spots. After Bristol, it's possible that no Toyotas will have a guaranteed starting spot... there are two fully-sponsored, full-time Toyota teams that haven't even qualified for ONE race.

Most Nascar drivers have been diplomatic about Toyota entering the sport... there are a few drivers that have said some idiotic things, but it just that, only a few drivers. ...and you can't blame Nascar for the way its fans are reacting to Toyota... Nascar didn't put out a mandate to their fans saying "Boo Toyota"...
