What I always thought were interesting, mainly due to their rarity, were the Aerostars with the double-rear-doors...

#2, how rare are they? There's one at the church I volunteer for.

#3, It's not an "OMG THERES ONE" kind of rare, it's a "hey, I haven't seen one of those in quite a while" kind of rare... Of course, if there's one always at a place that you go to a lot, it won't seem rare.

#4, yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. For instance, up here in MN, 80s cars in any shape with no to minor rust are rare, and down in KS/OK they're everywhere.

my astro has double rear doors...and a continental package-which i took off

astro with the 2 door rear + "privacy tint" = blind spot from hell

mine also has 3 smaller windows on the side with wood blinds = more hell

damn i miss that thing....i think driving that made me a really good driver...able to compensate for a lot of different situations while driving and shortcoming of the vehicle because it was so damn temperamental and difficult to drive
