For me, it's gotta be the huge cushiony headphones... my ears are unusually large and the canal entrance has a weird shape, so "wraparound" and "earbud" headphones have NEVER fit me.

#1, I know what you mean, but not because I have unusually shaped ears but because I'm a sound quality freak.. I bought these because I was high (Trebas Institute http://www.trebas.com/, circa 2002) and absolutly needed headphones but all I coulb find were these "earbud" types and these.. Boy how do I regret this purchase. Nowadays, I don't need headphones at all, except lately because I just got a new shift (3PM to 11PM) and I don't want to wake up my girlfriend while listeing to music at this hour of the day.

I got a pair of cheap-o big-cushoiny headphones at ROSS a few years ago... the sound quality is actually pretty damn good, and it has GOOD low-bass. The sound-quality may be good, but the materials in the construction of the headphones were not... they're currently held together with duct-tape. But they still sound great :D

Earbuds fall right out of my ears. I use the regular-size padded headphones.

I'm actually using mine right now... I take night classes, but my mother is a public high-school teacher, so our schedules are wildly different, so using headphones is a must.

#6, Exactly. I'm partially drunk, it's 12:21AM, I got back from work at 11:20PM (bought a 1.8L beer before my shift because they don't sell alcohol after 11PM) and I don't want to disturb my girlfriend who probably went to bed at 9:30PM because she wakes up at 5AM tomorrow, so I used my retarded headphones.

I have one set of headphones, and they're big cushy jokers that cover the entire ears, sorta like earmuffs. I like 'em. :)

I spent $3.50 on a set of "skull candy" icons.. retarded things in pearl white and orange... but they're better than the $25 open cup "gamer" headphones I wasted $25 on.

i hate earbuds, and those cushiony headphones both. if i had to pick, i'd pick comfy ear buds. apple's are good for quality, but they're uncomfortable as hell

For me, the biggest problem is the wire... somehow I always end up with a broken wire, both in the PC headphones and frequently in walkman/MP3 player headphones. Annyoing as hell.
