#9, lol, I figured you would pick up on that! By the way, our retreat to your area was quite nice. Free room and board, free food... we didn't even mind bringing our own beer!

#10, Hendo isn't too bad once all the old people run from the cold, Asheville is just plain scary all year round. Where did you stay when you were up here?

I took a trip to see the Biltmore Estate in August of 1998, and spent a night at a dump called the Thunderbird Motel in Asheville. What a dump.

The town seemed okay. The local Sear's Auto Center put a new alternator on my parent's '92 Crown Vic, and during that time (it took them 4 hours, for some damn reason) I alternated between walking around in the nearby mall at watching No Name on the Bullet on American Movie Classics in the waiting room (in those halcyon days before AMC showed commercials).

#15, i really dig the town.. we came very close to choosing it over where we are. I like the music venues. We are going to see Les Claypool 3/01 at the Orange Peel!

I remember some musty old place in Maine in the middle of nowhere with dead frogs in the pool and a bunch of dead butterflies mounted on the wall.
