So... how much does a fender and a hood from a junkyard cost that he can't afford it? |

Im guessing the door was fucked up, so he replaced that, then he had a slightly bigger wreck. |

BEACH BUGGY! *takes off doors and windows as well as most of interior and puts benches inside* |

#6, I always wanted to do this with my father's car (well, forget the benches). The only problem would be the glued-on rear quarterpanels, but I'd deal with that. |

Someone must have spent a buttload getting the right tie-rods, ball-joint, strut, coil, and hub fixed. It's easy to say "why bother?" but we spent over a grand on my Chryslers parts last year, and that car cost us only $1500 so I can understand how important a car can be to someone, not so much emotionally but physically. |

#8, Yup. The body work done to my car will cost 2 or 3 times it's price... but it still will be cheaper than to buy another, registration, insurance, fixing up stuff, finding new stuff to fix, etc. |
