#3, Wise choice, I tried to convince my dad to buy a Magnum when he was looking at his minivan, it was like talking to a brick wall :(

#11, You keep a pretty steady rein on that old crate.

#12, I was slow, but my laps were clean. I don't know if I could have done faster, I ran a 37-point-something on Saturday and then a 36.482 and a 35.856 Sunday. The tires are 11 years old and the suspension is stock, so I didn't want to push the truck too hard and risk breaking it. At least two cars crashed and no fewer than five spun out over the weekend. I can see why Sensekhmet enjoys motorsport so much. It really gets your adrenaline going.

#11, As I always say: 'fun car' does not equal fast/expensive car. It's what you do with it, not what it is. I salute you, sir.

#16, Thank you. :)

I haven't been able to play with the truck lately since it's been having some mechanical issues and needs new tires. It's not easy to find 30X9.5R15 truck tires at a good price anymore. :/

#14, Some of those low-light pictures look like shots straight from a 1971 GMC brochure.

#17, Sadly, tires are perhaps the most important single upgrade you can make, street or track. And sadly, with tires you usually get what you pay for (maybe save for some regrooved slicks we have around here which are cheaper than street tires).

#19, I might be coming up on time to get new tires for my car... hopefully a decent set of Michelins shouldn't set me back TOO much... I can afford a nice set of touring tires.
