stupid rednecks.
actually when i saw the title of the story the other day i thought "good!" presuming it was street racers.
didn't know it was a charity event thingy. :/

but once again - stupid rednecks.
this is what dragstrips are for, why public streets have speed limits and why standing around with no barriers ins't very bright.

ya got that honey?

#3, I woulda though the same, would have been glad if it was street racers. And doing a burnout on a public street lined with crowds and no guard rails=Darwin Award stupidity.

#4, What? No. Street racer running off road killing himself=good. Mowing down innocent people=Not good at all EVER.

#8, I didn't say it was good. And most street racers here are dumb teenage ricers, could use some thinning out of the herd *runs*

#9, "would have been glad if it was street racers"

I just read that as it would be okay if this was a late night street racing shindig and some idiot in their mad Civic with modzz ran into the crowd trying to pull mad driftzz.

However I fully agree with you if you meant you would be glad if said idiot doriftu-ed into a tree or something.

Whenever I see or hear about some teenage ricer dipwad getting himself crushed into jelly after his Mitsubishi smacked a tree going 120 or something I feel bad sure, I mean that's no age to die and it's a damn shame that a young life was snubbed out all because of some retarded holdover fad. But at the same time I can't feel any sympathy for someone who had such disregard for his own life, live stupidly, die stupidly, that's what I say. Personally I'd much rather see someone smash up their car, live, and then hopefully excersize some damn common sense in the future.

if kids are hanging out somewhere with people street racing and one gets plucked down, i see it as no different then riding shotgun with someone who has been drinking all night and pulls a vince neil.

you/they should have known better and clearly made a bad choice.

street racers = stupid drivers
less stupid drivers = better world for all

i'm against all street racers and anyone supporting these twits.

I remember on the news they kept talking about the driver of this car tring to perform a "tire-spinning stunt."

It frankly astonishes me that even non-car people don't know what a burnout is.
