#2, Looks like a standard first gen 5... as to the scoop it doesn't have to be anything special, my father's Fiat 127 Sport had a bigger one.

I might take this opportunity to remind everyone that a Yugo has a hood scoop, too, but that doesn't make it special. :P

#7, Most scoops in old small cars (in Europe at least) were simpl placed above cabin vent system vents.
Even though the 3rd gen 127 Sport was quite a sporty car and the 1300cc engine topped with a 2bbl carb delivered 75hp, all that shapely hood scoop did was was feeding... the vent fan :D

#8, And speaking of Renault 5 vents, etc... In Super 5, there is an additional compartment under the hood in front of the windshield. It holds the jack, battery, washer tank and a central mounted fan. Funny thing is, when you close the hood (it opens to the front), there's a noticeable gap under the rear lip of the hood and this is where the air comes in. So it's a semi-cowl induction (if you cut the wall between the engine compartment and this, er, vent compartment). End of trivia.

I'd probably be more suprised seeing one of these on a street than a Mclaren F1.

#10, I was shocked when I saw one in SF, orange, 4 door ... but then again I'm always surprised when I see a French car in the US.
