#4, even less funny than GT500 jokes. at least the GT500 jabs are true.

#4, 'Nice Opel Omega' would be closer to the truth I think.

I don't get it... the first GTO looked just like a plain-jane Pontiac Tempest, yet no one complained...

I like the styling *shrugs*

There's just no pleasing some people.

#7, The old cars, in the 60's/early 70's, have an intemporal look, I can't hate them or find them bland or ugly. Yeah, most of them looked quite alike but I just don't care. I'll always drool over old cars, but I can't drool over a new GTO.

#8, So do I. I prefer the understated look. And serious capabilities.

Irony. We like understated old performance cars, and value a good sleeper, yet a newer performance vehicle is almost always expected to look the part. Maybe because older cars had style, and newer cars... frequently don't.

#12, Truth. Even bland styles from years ago seem different now, because they're less frequently seen. Bland looking modern cars are even more bland by virtue of being modern, because "modern" is a term that describes a large percentage of the cars on the road.

True, the GTO didn't look like much, but with RWD and a V8, I'm not complaning.
