Laste weekend, the last race was held on Tor Kielce race track (a.k.a. Miedziana Gora, Copper Mountain). |

Opened in 1977, it consists of an oval section, kart track inside the oval and a twisty section running through steep forest covered hills. A part of this section is a public road. This is an old school track, no run off areas and armco very close to the track. Becuase of that, the forest section is used only for championship races. The result is no groove and rapid decay of tarmc surface. The public road section is hardly in better shape and worse still it's owned by the local authorities so any repairs are up to them. It remains to be seen weather the EU will chip in to help redesign and save the track, or if it will face the fate of Roen Les Essarts, a rather similiar track that was simply erased from the map, all signs of it's glorious past demolished or torn down.
