The Parnelli Jones Mustang (S197) is a $60,000 special edition (oh no, there's that phrase again) Mustang offered with a Saleen built modular 302 w/ 400hp and all the decals and louvers replicating the original 1970 Trans Am champion Stang. This Mustang appears to be one of the "Shinoda Boss" packages, which include such goodies as underdrive pulleys and lowering springs plus some exterior accessories. The Shinoda family never worked with Parnelli Jones, it was actually Steve Saleen's famed racing company who built the new 302 engine in a joint venture with Jones but everytime you hear the word "Boss Mustang" you immediately think of the famous smallblock. And with so many damn designers working on the S197 platform it gets kinda ridiculous.
