A custom Peterbilt tractor lowrider convertible? I think I just heard every trucker on this side of the Mississippi groan. |

#6, To me it's mechanical art.
Family cars are made to cart families.
I still wouldn't mind a stripped Datsun 510 with two front seats and gutted interior that rode hard and was utterly useless for it's original task - it's fun.
Ford Lightning is another useless vehicle - I still like 'em.
I bet the guy who built it had a blast and enjoys the hell out of it.

I'd like it if it was regular height and had a roof and normal mirrors. :P

#8, It's airbagged.
I think driving this thing around for a joy ride on a nice summer day would be incredible fun. |

i'd rather a pete, black, stretched chassis, train horns, painted chrome, two tone black/chrome alcoa wheels, and a detroit v12. lighly lowered, but still useable as a hauler, and unmuffled 5 inch pipes.

#11, if I were to be able to afford to drive and own a pete, it would be both a hauler and cruise machine. <3 the sound of a 2 stroke diesel. |

This thing's a bit overdone but after seeing some more custom rigs I must say I'd be happy to own something like Driven posted. Lots of chrome, Alcoa wheels, wild paint job, big exhaust stacks, mild lowering job and a huuuuuge engine.

#10, 600 cat for me, 2 stroke detroits sound badass but I like to be able to go up an incline weighing 80,000lbs without shifting. most 2 strokes can't do it unless you spend an assload of money tuning them. other than the engine choice A 379 extended hood pete with the 8" straight pipes, 110" double bunk, and 18 speed transmission and full locking rears. Also fully outfitted like the one my father drove, power inverter, fridge, microwave, tv, dvd player and XM. |
