Description:
'69 Chevelle after getting t-boned by a new Malibu
both occupants in the Chevelle were killed when ejected from the car. Apparently the driver of the Chevelle lost control of the car, over compensated and went into the other lane of traffic where they were hit. At Chevelle.com they think the body/frame bolts must have been rusted through. |

I feel bad for the family of the guy who died but wonder how the hell a newer POS Malibu could do that much damage to a real one.

#3, crumple zones absorb impact. Older full steel cars have the impact dispersed around them.

#5, .....Which means that the "crumple zone" car should look worse. In this case, it did: Apart from the frame separation on the Chevelle, it generally doesn't look as bad as the Malibu.
I don't feel sorry for the occupants of the Chevelle. If they were driving stupid enough to destroy one, I have no sympathy for them.
