Description:
Under the hood of the Joe Dirt Daytona, we find the ORIGINAL, show-quality paint job,
painted over to look like crap for the movie (FUCK YOU, HOLLYWOOD!) and a Dick
Landy-built 440. Please, please, whoever bought it.... fuck having "a piece of Hollywood
history" from a shitty movie that flopped, RESTORE THE DAMN THING!

Really, I thought the movie was pretty damn funny. But someone sure as hell better restore that car. I mean you could of got a 350 Tempo for him to drive and tore the shit out of it. Ruining a Charger Daytona is totally unacceptable! Those things are important pieces of history, not to mention badass cars.

Relax, guys, it wasn't a real Daytona. It was a show quality clone. I read all about it on the E-bay sale.

#8, I just found a site dedicated to this car, and they had a picture of the VIN plate. I ran it through a Mopar VIN decoder, and found that it's an F-code car: Mopar speak for a factory 318. In other words, definitely not a real Daytona.
