These were popular among W-body enthusiasts around here, espescially the LQ1 and H.O. 4-banger models with the Getrag tranny but they never really acheieved the status of the Grand Prixs and Regals even though I think they're the best looking of the three from that era.

#1, still are. I want a white/red/white vert. Hell I think the earlier verts are nicer looking than the later gen ones. And, I have to agree although the BYP ('94-'96) and BPU nosed GPs are good lookin cars.

#2, Indeed, I always thought the 5th gen GP looked odd, espescially the later model GTP, it's just so bloated looking.

#3, I wouldn't mind owning one but they really don't do a whole lot for me looks or performance wise. I have seen some nice ones though.

#4, If any of the early-to-mid-90s W bodies dated quickly, it was the Regal. Whenever you see one these days, you always know it's old because it looks the part.

#5, True, I think the 4th gen facelift was sorely needed, and the inclusion of the L67, well that's just gravy.

#5, yes. I think non BYP coupes look like ass too save for the early first gens from '88-'91. Other than that bleh.

I've seen a green Cutlass convertible on the west side of town.
