Description:
Some strange modified car RRB and I found in a junkyard in Death Valley. We thought it might have been used in filming "Death Race 2000" but we're not sure.

I remember seeing that when I was about 7 or 8....it was a failed pilot, to be part of UPN's "Action Pack," along with Bandit (a retelling of Smokey and the Bandit starring Briam Bloom as Bandit, in a black Dodge Stealth with a modern country soundtrack - never went to series, but went on to become a string of TV movies, some of which were written by Brock Yates), and also Hercules and Xena, Warrior Princess, both of which went on to become successful TV series.

The car was supposed to be a former factory '69 Mustang drag car with a body modified to accept machine guns and a huge unidentified V8 engine....but it's pretty damn obvious that it's not a real '69 Mustang.

EDIT: Looks like it was based on an MN12 Ford Thunderbird: http://www.jayohrberg.com/Knight_Rider_2010.html

#13, How about the "futuristic" cars in Looper? You know, ten-year-old used cars with random hardware store electrical bits glued to them?
