I might be wrong, but I was under the impression the Blue Flame was the multi-carbed version from the Corvettes in '53 and '54. I thought the single carbed ones were called Thriftmasters.
In any case, it's almost identical externally to the 196 OHV in the Rambler.

#1, The site mentioned this had 140hp, the C1's Blue Flame with 3 Carter YHs and a 'sharp' cam had 150hp according to a classic car mag I have, so I really don't know. |
