Description:
The not-so-great Italian powerplant, this is a Fiat 126p air-cooled 2 cylinder, here in group A trim, pushing out 50hp.
It is said this engine was designed either by an idiot or a genius, it delivers 24hp stock but with only a couple of tweaks it can deliver a healthy 35hp. Start some more serious work and 60hp isn't too much of a problem. All of this from a 650cc pushrod designed in the 1950s.

You can't actually see the engine itself as it's covered by the cooling shroud.
