#60, Yes and no. I know exactly what to do with the chassis/suspension and axle. Not so much for the engine, but plenty of people build up 302s.

Car is here. Now I've got a bunch of hoops to go jump through.

for an interesting book on 5.0s - the '5.0L Ford Dyno Tests' - from SA Books - shows real world performance changes of the various popular mods - not that I have that much faith in the Westech Dyno.

Personally I'm out of the V8 game - sucks too much fuel!

I'm probably going to get a set of decent heads (AFR185s, perhaps), a healthy cam, and some headers, and take it from there. I want to hit 300-350 whp NA.

Car passed emissions with flying colors and is now registered and tagged. Washington title has been applied for.

Has noticeably less power than the V6 car, and handles a lot worse. Brakes are about the same. 5.0L engine at least sounds nice.

I've ordered a complete replacement for the entire suspension. The only stock parts left will be the front spindles and rear axle assembly, just like with the V6 car. I'm approaching it a bit differently and using a torque arm instead of a parallel 4-link this time, though. Engine modifications will wait until I'm comfortable driving the car; I don't want to throw another 100-150 hp into the equation until I'm sure that I can handle it.
