1979 was the best-selling year for the Camaro...no one has any idea why. They sold something like 280,000 of them that year, even though there was nothing really special about the 1979 model year.

1979 was the first year of the "luxury" Berlinetta model. But other than that, a rear defroster. a different dashboard design, and some exterior bits and pieces the car was the same as the year before.

#6, Might be an International too, but I don't know if the Scout came with a removable top.

#9, After closer inspection, I believe you and my original assumption were correct. Being a giant 67-72 C-10 fanboy I can honestly say that no other truck had a bed shaped like that.
