First year for squared headlight housings. This was a big styling improvement over the bug-eyed look of the '62s and '63s.

#1, 'T'we're no 62 Avantis, first year was '63 (that's why these had to use a Lark for the 1962 Indy 500 pace car)
Seen probably about a dozen Avantis of different years over the years.

The interior is gorgeous....or at least it would be, if it had carpet.
