I've seen a Suzuki Samurai (like the one I have) do this. All that hapend was a bent fron axle, he just replaced it and the dampers nothing more was needed on than one..

I've seen nitro powered R/C trucks do this, nothing happened to them

depends on how he lands. With the proper advance preperation, you can jump just about anything without too much damage.
