Description:
This is apparently a one-off custom car from the early '50s iirc called the Wright Special. I don't remember anything more about it other than that it was originally built for street racing in Southern California.

I wonder what was spinning under the hood? I'm guessing some European sports car engine, although it'd be awesome if it was a big engine of the era, like a high-compression Olds Rocket, or a Hudson 308 with Twin H power.
EDIT: After googling the car, apparently it was built in 1956 with a Chevrolet V8, a LaSalle transmission, and a Ford rear end. Interesting.
