These things were seriously badass....nice to see that the unloved Omni/Horizon had a dark side. |

My aunt and uncle had two Plymouth Horizons....an early gold from the time I was born (rode in it a bunch of times), and then when I was about 7 they traded it for a newer dark blue one.
They seemed to get good service from them, although I remember the exterior door handles ont he gold one kept falling off. |

#4, My brother's friend Bobby had an old Horizon he bought for a couple hundred off his grandmother. I guess one day he got stuck in a snow drift in a fast food restaurant and tried to pull the car free simply by tugging on the rear bumper. After a strong tug I guess the bumper came right off in his hands! |

my grandma had a gray Omni when I was little. I don't remember much about it except for it had ugly beaded seat cover thingies which made me scared to ride in the front seats so I always rode in the backseat even when I was the only other person in the car. |

My dad once bought beaded seat covers at a flea market because he thought they'd help his back. They were in the garbage within the next two days |

after my buddy Russ had to get rid of his V8 Valiant - he ended up with a Horizon. It was a fun little car - though he thought it was way faster than it was... I could barely keep up with him in my 99hp Nissan truck - but it was funny when he tried to race a GLH one night ... he told me "it was all in the shifting"... lol, he still lost. |
