You have to admit, though, some of the stunt work is pretty spectacular.
One clip I saw on YouTube had a car jumping and just barely missing a helicopter....no CGI, either.

#7, That was the one....though closer examination suggests that it is CGI (or maybe a lower tech trick, like one film imposed on another). Good jump, though.
Kinda sucked seeing a BMW E24 and a Porsche 928 trashed in that pileup.

#3, It's not like there are no 50+ car pile ups on the highways all around the world... but yeah, the way some of these crashes happen is just dumb. For me the big - of the show is that they wreck some nice cars (although they are usually high mileage touched up junkers), the + is that it shows what happens if you crash at high speed (like a Golf t-boning a truck and ending up disintegrating right up to the b pillar): chilling...

#10, Yeah, sometimes I cringe... it's almost as if they hated cars. This hatred seems to concentrate on old Jag sedans, Old Benzes and Alfas. They also used to hate Mantas (killed at least one in every episode) but it seems they ran out of them.
