Blue Devil indeed....it does look rather intimidating.

Then I read this:

The engine produces 90 percent of peak torque from 2,600 rpm to 6,000 rpm.

*Falls to knees and begins to worship car*

"GM Powertrain testing shows the engine makes approximately 300 horsepower (224 kW) at 3,000 rpm and nearly 320 lb.-ft. of torque (434 Nm) at only 1,000 rpm."

*shrieks like giddy school girl*

I guess my car's engine could be used as a wiper motor on this thing...

why does this remind me so much of a last-gen NSX from this angle?

#10, 1st gen NSXs had the two tone color with roof & pillars being black.

Looks really, really good.

And speaking of engine specs, here are my Detroit 60-Series specs : 470 HP @ 1,800 RPM/1650 LBFT @ 1100 RPM :P

I actually haven't been this excited at the release of a new car for quite some time. Compared to that damn bloated, boring Nissan GT-R this thing is solid freaking gold.

I'm eager to see what its real-world performance will be like.

#16, I hate to be a fanboy of the show, but I really am interested to see if Top Gear will review it.. they reviewed the regular C6 and the Z06 (and actually gave rather favorable reviews of both)...

#17, well i remember the Z06 review being basically: great on the track, horrible on the street.

#17, I saw their Z06 review....they were impressed by it on the track, but Clarkson managed to work in some cheap shots about it being crude, rough-riding, and unrefined, and IIRC he compared it to a tractor at one point.
