The hammer has fallen, they started to measure the sound levels <:( The regulation is 93 decibels max at 3500rpm. Owners of Fiat 126s are especially angered, those cars were louder than this even stock, with their ultra-short exhausts (basically, the headers go directly into the muffler), now they're running big bore straight through exhausts or even strumienice, devices that accelerate the exhaust gasses.
Oh, and time for stock muffler for me.

#1, The noise is made by that little air cooled engine with its 1-metre long exhaust. Basically, it's like running open headers with a can at the end.
