I can say something nice about it...

... at least it looks better than the sedan, and better than the old Sebring convertible.

Saw this car driving today. For all the big names, car shows and things done to it, it's just another dirty, lightly dented, used Sebring driven by an old lady.

#3, The final-generation Sebring was DaimlerChrysler's way of saying "We just don't care anymore..."

The 200 was FiatChrysler's way of saying, "Well, we actually DO care, but LOOK what we're dealing with! Get the plastic surgeons and trimmers in!"

In all my tired internet forum activities - I've had people classify luxury automakers as 1st tier and others as 2nd tier luxury automakers.

I've never heard anyone classify Chrysler as even making it to the 2nd tier.

Chrysler - the Ralph Wiggum of luxury cars.

#5, Not even a modern 300C?

I honestly think the Chrysler products made after 2010 are much better than the cars they replaced. Case in point. The Jeep Grand Cherokee.

#7, Any Chrysler vehicle introduced or heavily updated after 2010, would be the way I would say it... the Avenger/200 and minivans are still kinda lackluster...

#9, okay point. But even those have been improved over their original redesign.

#6, It's not exactly causing the S-class any grief - or setting new standards in the full-size segment for that matter.

In fact - I think it's only claim to fame is how affordable it is; something that wouldn't make it a luxury car by definition.

I never thought of the 300 and S-Class as direct competitors. Honestly nowadays the concept of a "luxury car" has become such a broad term, what is a luxury car? We have luxury trims of compact economy sedans and hatchbacks, pickup trucks, what have you. People's standards for normal cars have increased a lot, to the point that "luxury" touches end up being a lot of stupid things like gimmicky touch screens, powered trunk lids, powered air vent covers and lots of other expensive things that eventually break.

#12, Is it wrong that I kinda would enjoy having a Ford Fiesta 1L Ecoboost Platinum Titanium?

[edit] My bad.

#14, Coming soon... and would I say no to refined suspension, more sound-deadening, and nicer materials in a small hatchback that gets over 40mpg? No, I would not say no.

[edit]: Whoops, Titanium. Not Platinum

#16, I say I would "enjoy" having a car like that... if I could afford to replace the 2 :P

I actually like the new 200. I keep seeing them and going "That's a Chrysler?"

#19, Indeed. They're quite impressive in person, moreso than pictures let on. I especially like the rear end styling and taillights.
