Description:
Another Christmas, another chance to photograph all of my close family's cars (except for the Tracker, which is in the garage.)
My grandmother's Cavalier is pretty much hidden in this shot, but not in this angle: http://photo.ricecop.com/pics/christmasparkinglot2.jpg
KW: Honda Accord, Scion xB
Note: The Fiero and Monte Carlo are the next-door neighbor's. I don't really know him. |

#2, Fiero bodies are plastic. Is it turning pink? Love that 80's GM paint. I had a gold Fiero turn, wait for it... silver, but the poor thing's probably rusting right under his nose. Take pics when you find the battery sitting in front right rear wheel.
I still want to take my Fiero and retire to Florida, the panhandle, or as my buddy likes to call it lower Alabama :P, watch it turn pink.

#4, Wow. Wait is it red or burgundy?
Red to pink
gold to silver
burgundy to tan
wonder what other sun blasted color combos are out there. |

#12, I liked the '03 PT Cruiser I test drove....seemed quite soundly constructed apart from the tacky "mouse fur" headliner. I know I'd rather have it than a Toyota Toaster. |

#12, I've been eying the xB - they really seem to hold their value extremely well, even the used ones aren't priced that much lower than new. The re-designed ones leave me a little cold - lost some of their quirkiness. I'm sure the 2.4L is more powerful, but I would rather have the mileage these days ! |

#14, I'm still at a loss as to why some european company doesn't start selling diesel compacts in the USA. We've got tons of good little cars here with great small turbo diesels. |

#15, Lots of U.S. citizens know how reliable diesel motors are but the price of diesel fluctuates a lot more than unleaded gas around here. Right now it's about $0.50 more per gallon than regular gas. |

#16, Yeah, but those tiny 1.4 (Peugeot) and 1.5 (Renault) diesels drink next to nothing. My sister has a 1.5 n/a diesel Citroen AX and it can get 4l/100km on the highway. |

#18, Heh, she and her family can go on a week long vacation on the Baltic coast and get back home without having to refill. They've done so twice already xD |
