Seems like a real-life version of a Johnny Lighting sold at TSC.

#3, One thing I always wondered about Johnny Lightning in the late '90s and 2000's... why did it take them so long to get the message that "limited edition" diecasts with licensed advertising graphics plastered all over them were slow sellers?

I still remember that RACKS of Monopoly, Coca-Cola, Mooneyes, etc JLs would clutter department store toy sections for YEARS without being bought.

Still, at least they never produced a diecast of a Corvair with a blower sticking out of the FRONT... *cough* Muscle Machines *cough*

#4, One thing I don't understand, is M2 Machines and their Moon Pie series. Is Moon Pie so popular that you can sell thousands of copies of various different models with their logo on it nationwide in regular retail stores?

Also, Hot Wheels and their cereal and snack food limited editions sold at premium prices. I've seen way too many Totino's AMC Pacers just sitting there in stores.

#5, *nods* yes, the Moon Pies and Totino's AMC Pacers (that one in particular) are just cluttering the aisles, never to be actually sold.

#6, Meanwhile, at Hub Hobby, those two are in the dollar bin in droves. :)
