Best car magazine ad ever. It got banned because of people would get unrealistic expectations from the car. The ban was lifted shortly afterwards |

#2, Yes, it can. Rally drivers ramped thousands of 106s (1.3 and 1.6 Rallyes and Maxi's) a million times. Landing is the problem, the rear suspension has a tendency to bounce/recoil, so the landing usually was more of a face plant than anything else. Also, even if the front stayed put, chances were the rear would jump up and continue bouncing around until the car pranced into a ditch, forest, spectators or off a cliff.

In other words - people couldn't use just two brain cells to consider how fast the car would have had to have gone to reach that height and are so easily impressionable - they might just belive that a car could launch itself that high from that incline.
